Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA SAVINKOFF (nee KORDECH) Peacefully, at the Concordia Hospital on Tuesday, October 2, 2001, with family and friends at her side. Was predeceased by parents, Tatyana and Zachary; and beloved husband Fred. She was born March 5, 1937 in Winnipeg, raised in Whitemouth until the age of 12, then moved to East Kildonan. Barbara is survived by three children, Kurt, Monica, and Dean. Also six grandchildren, Megan, Nikita, Barbara, Theresa, Melissa and Jeffery; sisters-and-brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews and close friends. Pallbearers are Marvin and Robbie Taschuk, Peter Savinkoff, Don and Raymond Loran and Vern Danyluk. Honorary pallbearers are Derrick Taschuk, Warren Mark, Wade and Jamie Rentz. Funeral service on Friday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Interment at Transcona Cemetery.
